Estelle & John's breathtaking military wedding at RAF HaltonWith John and Estelle being based in London, my initial conversations were via email and telephone and, having booked Emotive, we finally managed to meet just after Christmas and it felt like we had known each other forever. John and Estelle are an incredibly warm and easy-going couple and this also extends to their family and friends who made myself and Phil so very welcome and an integral part of their celebrations. Although it was their initial intention to hold everything at RAF Halton (Aylesbury), plans changed shortly beforehand and last week they married in an intimate ceremony attended by family and close friends at the very picturesque Malvern Registry Office; with a few pictures in the Winter Gardens before having a spot of lunch. We had been researching RAF Halton in the run up to the Macleod wedding 'Part II' this weekend, but had decided to visit St. George's Church on the base and RAF Halton House (the location for the festivities afterwards) on Friday and am glad we did, otherwise I think we would have spent the wedding day with our jaws dragging along the floor! To say the place is impressive is a gross understatement and, whilst the weather did a very good job of preventing us from using the expansive grounds, the inside of the house more than made up for it; this is a simply stunning venue. I had made the mistake of thinking that Estelle looked like a princess at their Malvern ceremony (for which she had to have a different wedding dress of course), but when she put on her wedding gown at Halton I quickly realised that the REAL princess had arrived and the simply stunning bride was ready to meet her dashing RAF officer for their wedding blessing and the ultimate PARTY!!!! Here are a few images from the Macleaod wedding part II. Enjoy!

These photographs capture the occasion perfectly. You were everywhere with your cameras but remained as unobtrusive as possible and I was really impressed to see you come in, soaked to the skin, with your camera covered in polythene, after photographing the crazy sparkler rain dance. I am really looking forward to seeing the full set!
