Helen & Craig's winter wedding at The Old Vicarage, WorfieldHelen and Craig married on what has got to have been one of the windiest day's of 2015 and, the venue being on top of a hill always helped! Despite this, love was most definitely in the air and nothing was going to put a damper of their special day. So, Craig arrived in a rather posh motor which had been gently put through its paces on the way (honest), Helen (after a somewhat relaxed bridal prep) was ready to wed her man in the emotional ceremony - or maybe that should be her emotional man in the ceremony. A lovely touch was 'The owl and the pussycat' as the reading - the first time I had heard this used at a wedding - and then we moved on with guests braving the cold for a few images before racing back into the welcoming rooms of the Vicarage where everyone stayed until it was time to venture out again in the evening for a firework display. Helen looked fabulous throughout the day despite the cold and wind and was a star for the photos! I also have to mention the beautifully decorated reception room (in a winter theme), ready to receive guests who were treated to what what probably the most hilarious groom's speech ever when reciting his failed attempts at proposals - well done Craig! The whole day was an absolute pleasure.
