FAQ - what do you cover?This is an important point to establish when you are looking at potential photographers for your wedding because definitions of 'all day coverage' vary widely and in some cases you may find that specific time limits apply and coverage before/after these will incur additional costs. I am not saying that this is wrong, only that you should be aware of these BEFORE you book, to ensure that you know the true cost of what is involved just incase your day does not quite run to time, or you have some unusual entertainment/firework display in the evening which may run beyond the normal 'cut off' time. As for me, you have booked a date to cover your wedding so my view is whether I stay for 8 or 12 hours is largely irrelevant, it is for me to make the most of your coverage. My quoted prices include bridal preparation (if required and practical) through into the evening and, whilst I do not have time constraints, we discuss and agree on practical coverage but it gives us the flexibility that if things don't quite run to plan, I will not be packing away just when there is a fabulous sunset to capture or your evening starts to get REALLY interesting. Not everyone wants full coverage, and that is fine, but for those of you who are undecided, my view is that if it is covered you still have a record of events and whilst it is unlikely many of your bridal preparation or evening pictures will be selected for your album (normally only a small selection are used), they provide a record of your day for now and the future. So, think carefully..........how much of your day do you want to see?
